The Big Reveal: When the snow melts, yuck!

It's easy to forget about litter in your neighborhood when it is hiding underneath the snow. The litter doesn’t disappear or break down and when the snow melts in the spring, someone needs to clean it up. If not, it gets washed into our waterways and pollutes the water that humans, your pets, and all other living things need to survive. With an adult, walk around the neighborhood to find fallen trash and put it into the garbage can. Encourage your friends and family to clean up litter around their home to keep our water clean for everyone.
